I think a film called 'Nice Guys' about [arbitrary number of 'guys, but let's say three] men who are all examples of men with 'nice guy' syndrome is a pretty fertile premise.

presenting the outwards and inwards aspects of the syndrome and how it progresses. maybe one sees the light and the others get progressively more embittered, festering away, or never get their issues checked, idk.

you could research it pretty easily on Reddit and that Men Patting Each Other on the Back forum. think it would be brooding/menacing/creepy. relevant to society today. get Fincher or someone to direct.
