Cats - A man strikes back
Alistair Grant
If you are a cat owner you need to read this. I am extremely displeased with you, I'm about to offend a lot of people, but sometimes the truth hurts. If you have a cat you are a detriment to society.
In my back garden up until tonight there was a bird's nest, it contained two newborn chicks and their mother. It was a thrush family… One chick is mortally wounded and dying, the other is dead, the nest is destroyed. This was done by a cat, a cat that is well fed and well watered and released every night just like millions of cats up and down the country, to cause havoc and destruction on our native species of wildlife.
Cat owners, I am incensed by you, I am literally beside myself with anger to your selfish stupid actions in buying a cat… They are vermin! They serve no useful purpose, they are a selfish pet for selfish people who are incapable of looking after a real animal and who continuously ignore the fact that cats like foxes relish to kill and destroy everything in their path for their own sadistic nature.
Release a cat out of your house with no regard for what it may do! Whining and fighting all night long keeping people awake, killing, defecating on other people's property. Would you allow a dog to do this? Would you allow a German Shepherd dog to wander the streets by itself? Causing car accidents! Taking huge dumps in people's gardens? If a dog did this in your garden you would be straight round to the owner demanding they clear up the mess! But a cat? Somehow that's acceptable?
The reason why this country is losing rare native bird species is the domesticated cat. You can pretend all you like that there is some benefit to having this animal, you can tell me that it prevents rats and mice in your house? The only time I've ever heard of anyone having rats or mice in the house was when a cat brought one in! I have never had rats or mice in my house and I don't have a cat or a dog, and I live in the countryside! I understand the cat is just doing what comes naturally to it, but you are at fault for breeding these animals! If I had a pet tiger and it ripped a man to pieces could I not argue that it was just doing what came naturally? I would be the irresponsible one for having that pet in the first place!
