bought a mezza luna (single blade) many years ago, simply because the store was closing down and it was going very cheap. Used it to chop herbs every now and again, but otherwise it rarely got a run. It's not exactly the most common of kitchen utensils, after all.

Recently, though, I've been using it to chop garlic and to cut pizza, and it has fast become my favourite non-standard kitchen/household implement.
