inspired by re-reading the "anecdotes from supermarket workers" thread yesterday and also this blog - http://claytonblizzard.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/normal-0-chimp-gibbon-i-posted-lots-of.html?zx=f60c356c691e9db it got me thinking about ridiculous/amusing things people do to take the edge off the crushing banality of a lot of jobs

remember reading somewhere on here about someone's friend who was an accountant who used to alter the words to popular songs to make them relate to his job, such as "i like to AUDIT! AUDIT!, i like to AUDIT! AUDIT! you like to, AUDIT!"

during a quiet spell in work recently i took to modifying our company photo's using only ms paint and emailing them to the person involved, most took them in good humour but one girl went absolutely mental, she didn't like the australian cork hat or parrot i'd added to her picture
