Help me, DiS (lying on your CV-centric)
So, I've finally found a job that I'd really like to do. It's an internal vacancy at my current place of work.
However, there are a couple of things on the 'essential knowledge, skills, and experience' section of the job spec that I don't have. A couple that I could research before a potential interview, but the main requirement being a BA hons qualification in three fairly specific degree courses.
I went to uni but didn't finish my course (which was very similar to the three listed), but my CV at the moment says I ended up with a HND.
I'm meeting the man who would be my boss today at 4pm to meet him, check out where I'd be based, and discuss the role. I don't know whether to come clean and tell the truth about my time at university, or lie and see if I can get away with it.
What should I do? Have you ever lied about something important on your CV and got away with it?
