Fracking in the UK
Now i'm not usually one to get all jumpy and threadmaky about an issue we don't have all the facts on yet (thatcher museum, global warming, andyvine's arrest for child abuse) but this looks like it might end up being a heap of wrong;

are there any DiSers who know lots about this and we can have a debate? watched that Gasland film and was disappointed it was Michael Moore type sensationalist drivel that is loose on facts, does anyone have any good read-ups on it? i know fracking has occured for decades with no real proof of water contamination occuring when the process is undertaken correctly, but some of it is unsettling shit, particularly the earthquake stuff.
lets debate. tomorrow if needs be.
