Green peppers are the least good peppers, aren't they?
Not sweet so, apart from maybe a curry bulker or on a pizza with pineapple, they never really get an outing. You get packs of yellow, red and green and the green always hangs around. They should just sell them separately.
I'm sure I've seen black/purple ones but I've no idea how they taste.
(For the Aussies, we're talking capsicums here.)
