So it looks like MPs are getting a 11% (some say 12%) payrise after all

Whilst public sector pay gets 1% (basically a freeze, or even a drop, depending on inflation) and pay progression scrapped.
£66k to about £74k
Seems reasonable. After all, we're not in a recession and they haven't taken the piss with say, expenses.

I've said it before but THEY THINK WE'RE STUPID.
On BBC Question Time last week they said it wasn't their fault, as Ipsa is independent and decides for them. As if they couldn't reject it and were victims to some insane bureaucracy.
