FAO of Londoners. Nice things to do in London (few days off work centric)
Morning all!
I am in the lucky position of having a few days off work in (that) London. Wondered if any LME members had ideas on cool things to do with my time. Need to do more than watch Community in bed. Have lived here 6 years so know most of the main ones, just wondered if anyone had "hidden gems", say. Here's one: the Museum of Brands and Packaging in Notting Hill. Hidden away behind a mews, it takes you through how brands have been packaged and designed since 1900. Subtle, enjoyable, very well put together. Not many people know about it!

Am looking for a "relaxing" vibe i guess (as am currently in the grip of a, um, hypomanic episode). Symptoms include: restlessness, talkativeness, profligate spending, promiscuity. Sleeping for 2 hours a night. Eating as little as one strepsil for lunch (and not even finishing that). Appetite becomes fucked when you're feelng so euphoric. So some good, some bad. So i guess getting mashed up on ecstasy pipes with Vikram in Hoxton at 2am on Sunday with Jemima and Florence-Posey-Clemence is off the menu. Gutted. It's also my birthday on Saturday.
Hmm, mania & summer birthdays. Toxic combination! (this is the third time this has happened!)
Cracking owl sanctuary recommendations most welcome.
Have a great day.
TL; DR....
thanks!
