They're not nice - actually soul destroying places. The only advantage is that they're cheap and convenient; this is great but it's also a double edged sword. I buy so much shit I don't actually need.

So I'm gonna do a biggish shop this weekend (Lidl probably, for shower gel and stuff, and stock up on wholemeal pasta and rice from Tesco)... then starting Monday only shopping at markets/independent shops.
