i don't really have a favourite, but i've heard a few people say that Tebay's a guddun. least favourite's Watford Gap, just because i've been there so many times.

they're pretty much the most depressing places in Britain, especially the ones where they connect the north and southbound ones with a massive fucking bridge. fuck that.

has anyone actually ever been to a good one? i mean, i understand they just serve a purpose and that, but it'd be nice if they weren't properly monopolised and there was one somewhere with a nice independent tea shop, some trees, maybe a bit of a pond or a non-chain boozer.
