going to see the stone roses last week, with all the delights that brings, reminded me of going to see oasis at murrayfield when i was about 16, highlights included:

a small riot breaking out on the park during the happy mondays when someone appeared with a red hand of ulster flag, another wank appeared opposite with a tricolour and violence then ensued

people throwing glass bottles (some half full of buckie) from the back to the front of the crowd

people pissing and spitting off the top tiers onto the crowd below

i mentioned this to my mate yesterday and he recounted being hit with a full cup of pish at an oasis gig in manchester, maybe there's a theme here?
