Tipping

I'm very much of the 'pay all staff a fair wage and just add a small amount onto the bill if needed' mindset, but I obviously do pay tips in restaurants/ to taxi drivers. I don't tip my barber, though I feel guilty about it. I can't accept the argument that abolishing tipping would stop people aiming to give a good service. It's insulting both to people who work jobs which don't take tips/bonuses and also implies that a waiter's job is so terrible and demeaning only tipping makes it worthwhile.
