Nominative determinism
According to Wikipedia:
"Nominative determinism (ND) is the theory that a person's name can have a significant role in determining key aspects of job, profession or even character."
I was thinking about this when I saw Barry Cryer on TV at the weekend (some comedian or other must have died, I dunno). Got me wondering how a man called Cryer goes on to write comedy.
This is genuinely a thing though. Any good examples?
