I've got an appointment at half four with a 'proper' hair stylist (i.e one that isn't the cut-price £10 haircut I usually go for). I've never done this before and am not sure what to ask for but am thinking about a variation on the quiff.

Question:
a) Are quiffs easy to get in place once the hair is cut?
b) How high maintenance are they?
c) What could I ask for instead? I don't know much about hair. Is it okay to just say you genuinely don't know what you want?
