i think i've just had one of those eureka moments. cooking anything more than a very basic, quite bland meal always seemed very foreign to me, like a mystical art or something. i've just realised though that's it all to do with cheat jars. you just use them and then everything just suddenly tastes really great and you are a great chef. i thought my girlfriend was a great cook but i realised she uses cheat jars all the time. like EVERY time she cooks. she's out tonight so i'm making some food and while it's bubbling away i have a look at the little shelf there is and there are like 2 dozen cheat jars called paprika and rosemary and cumin and saphron and all sorts of different things. you just put them all in the food and people think you are great at cooking. what a swizz!
