just turned away a door-to-door charity dude
working for battersea dogs' (and cats') home and all - an organisation that got my little Oppen a free microchip a few weeks back
told him with a smile it was out of principle and that if he had a little shaker full of money I'd give him some, but he didn't. felt guiltier than if it had been for the rspca or whatever.
anyway, after all of this wanton boastfulness (I have a dog! and a backbone!) disguised as angst (oh noes INTRUSIVE CHUGGERS LOL, oh noes DO I GIVE ENOUGH TO CHARITY TO CONSIDER MYSELF A NICE PERSON D:), I have a long-standing bone to pick
that poor bastard is doing the charlton/woolwich area at dusk on a friday. people are gonna be tired, uncooperative or worse. his pay is directly related to how many people he gets signed up.
it's absolutely disgusting that young people are forced into doing this work.
