I'm always really fascinated by these epic adventures though, even when they have an element of weirdness. Round the world yachts, climbing everest - I'd love to do something really monumental like that. My friend was part of the first mixed crew to row the Atlantic, and it was awe-inspiring.

I'd really like to do one of those epic car rallies, like where you have to drive a small car from London to Mongolia. Has anyone ever done one of those? Want to try?
