Dear LDNMetropolitanElite,

If you have been feeling lonely on Detour London (while it's been locked away behind an invite-only beta for testing), we have some GOOD NEWS for you.

Detour London is being released into the wild; it is growing up, dressing up, and partying up...with you guys and gals! We will be making Detour public from next week, so that everyone can get involved and help make live music better for fans and artists!

Wait... enough of the speil... you said party... right? Yes! We are going to have a real live launch party with real life DJs and real life people, including - we hope - you!

The launch party will be at the Hoxton Gallery Arches, Shoreditch from 7.00pm onwards on Wednesday the 15th of May (that's next week!). Michelle, Ian and a number of other Songkick staff will be there to tell you bit about the project, chat about music, and buy you a beer or two :) If that isn't enticing enough, there will also be live music from one or two of our DJ friends, and free SWAG.

I'd tell you more, but until Tuesday it's a closely guarded secret.
