Been getting interested in this topic recently and I'm thinking about buying some Phenibut. Does anybody have any experience, or do you all stay well clear?

Also, I'm not sure what the legal status is in mainland Europe (Phenibut is legal in the UK for sure)... tempted to get some posted to me from the UK, but I'm slightly scared because drug laws here are strict. The company assures me that it's fine... anybody know how I can check this, or even how to tell if something is classed as a 'real' drug or a nootropic?
