job interview etiquette
had a job interview on wednesday, it went relatively well and was informed at the end of the interview that they'd be letting all of the candidates know the outcome yesterday.
subsequently spent most of yesterday staring at my phone, refreshing my emails waiting on an answer, to date haven't heard anything so i assume it's not good news. but it got me thinking about how unreasonable some employers are with how they treat interview candidates, had quite a few interviews in the past whereby i've just heard absolutely fuck all after an interview, not even a "thanks but no thanks letter or email", which seems a bit shit given the effort they know you've already made
i appreciate given the volume of applications some/most jobs will be getting at the minute they can't reply to every application but it seems pretty rude to just blank people you've gone to the bother of interviewing eh?
pretty sure i also referenced "miss world" at one point during this latest interview, can imagine they loved that part
