someone suggested in the offseason thread starting a new thread, what with the current one somewhat spiralling out of control, so I thought I'd start one ahead of tonight's festivities so we can dedicate pre and post-draft chat to one manageable thread.

This draft doesn't quite match the hype of last year's, but certainly exceeds it in terms of unpredictability. Luke Joeckel has been the consensus 1st pick for months now, but Eric Fisher is emerging as a candidate now, and pretty much every other pick is a toss up.
