Record shop day is all well and good, and I suppose it's essentially a day dedicated to vinyl, as much as it is to the emporium that sells it.

I was wondering what other 'days' you get excited about, and what things don't have their own day but deserve one.

Is there, for instance, a CAMRA-sponsored day dedicated to independent pubs that sell real ale/craft beer? Not sure getting up at 5am to drink a limited edition pint would be too socially acceptable, but...

I'd be well up for a national pork pie appreciation day.
