A question for Disers that don't live in London:
Where you live, or in nearby neighbourhoods, towns, etc......basically anywhere that you've been in the UK that isn't London -- Is there a current trend of 'builders' buying victorian terrace houses, in order to renovate them - under the guise of being 'Architects'?
It seems that more and more often, around north London I am seeing Terraced houses with an old bath tub, or water storage unit in the front garden, accompanied by a ton of rubble and plastering waste - and out the front there will be a sign declaring the name of the Architects that are renovating the building.
Below isn't a great example, but it's one that I remembered from a while back that would possibly be on g maps.
I suppose my point is - since when did builders become architects?
