I watched it last night. To be fair – from the offset, anyway – it wasn’t too bad. I liked a lot of the technology. The robot enforcers, weaponry, cityscapes, vehicles, infrastructure mechanisms (like motorways, etc) were all really cool. I didn’t even think that the Jules Verne tube was that ridiculous (aside from the fact that it would have to make one hell of an arc to avoid the earths core!).

The first 2 thirds were okay, it just went extremely shite for the last 40 minutes or so. Bill Nighy was a pointless addition to the cast. The last UK location battle scene was dreadful.

To summarise – pretty shite film but probably worth watching for the technology / hardware, alone.
