My Dell blew up on me this week and seems to be beyond repair. I'd like to buy a mac, but I can't justify spending £1000 on something that I'm only really going to use for multimedia, Internet and word processing. So something no more than £500 that will stand the test of time and isn't too dissimilar to a mac in its robustness, I'd potentially like a laptop/tablet hybrid but I don't know much about them and if they are worth it so you tell me. I've lost touch with technology in the last year, reintroduce me!
