Thursday Gaming Thread: Sponsored by Nissan
So first things first, after some interest being shown in a 'Game club' in past threads I've taken the initiative to come up with a rough format which can be found here. So if you're interested then take a look!

Bioshock Infinite:
Completed it & love the blighter! It's not the perfect game but the attention to detail is rather amazing and the are plenty of choice moments that stick in my mind. I like the way the last 2 hours ties up a lot of stuff and you suddenly start recalling all the moments foreshadowing the ending. *Spoiler free* The heads or tales moment now makes way more sense and I now chuckle at the reveal. Very good game, but gameplay could've been a bit better, I sort of wish it wasn't a shooter.
Did anyone else find themselves talking to Elizabeth when she handed you stuff? I found myself saying 'cheers' quite a lot, very strange, apparently this has been quite common... guess that proves the AI was pretty effective at it's job.
Disney shut down Lucasarts, no more Star Wars games for now (including that snappy looking next gen effort that was being made) I don't really consider it a real loss as Lucasarts hasn't really put out anything relevant for the longest of times but it's sad to see a studio responsible for so many great games going down the toilet.
Defiance looks sort of interesting but I've seen some bad things and apparently the PC version is in a bit of a mess, essentially a 3rd person shooter MMO. Anyone played it? I'm not going to put down £35 though because the combat looks pretty weak and I'm sceptical about the Scy Fy tie in.
Battleblock Theatre comes out and gets pretty great reviews, looks like lots of fun (from the creators of Castle Crashers) however I recently got rid of my Xbox so I'll have to wait for the eventual port to other systems before I can get my hands on it.
