Yes, I'm posting it on this board. I'm looking for some good speakers that a fairly compact - desktopable and no taller than my laptop when opened. They must be able to provide a bit of bass.

Any ones you guys have owned that are under £50 and do the job?

I would pay more, but for where I am I can't justify buying a big set because it's just not workable here.
