Hello.

I am trying to organise a trip to Avignon in France for me and my ladyfriend. It is a surprise and I am rubbish with stuff like this. I've never got a train out of the UK before.

I am GUESSING that my journey will be as follows:

Newcastle - London
London - Paris
Paris - Avignon

and reverse.

I've looked on national rail and raileurope but this are fairly expensive (about £340 each for returns).

Should I be looking somewhere else?

I want to go in early August.... something like the 5th. For three nights.
