One of the members of the discussion group commented that he is a catholic, and another member of the discussion group countered that since the aforementioned discussion group member didn't didn't go to church, partake in any catholic traditions, or believe in god, then he was not a catholic.
The original discussion group member argued that he was brought up as a catholic and that he very much identified as catholic, despite not doing anything remotely catholic.
