So there is a New York city cop, who had a weird fetish where he wanted to kill and eat a woman. The media dubbed him 'Cannibal cop'.

Backstory is, he would post on a website called "DarkFetishNet.com", here he would indulge in chat about wanting to kill and eat his wife and her friends. Apparently he even went as far as detailing how he would do it, bought chloroform and rope and supposedly used the work system to find out where some of these women lived. One day his wife was on the computer and 'found' his special folder. She obviously called the cops and he was promptly arrested.

Fast forward to yesterday and the guy convicted and given a life sentence for plotting.

Now dont't get me wrong, he clearly is one sick sick puppy, but is it fair he got given a life sentence for a crime he hasn't yet committed?

Also, isn't this the script to the Minority Report?
