lets have some reviews of places where you legally get your tv and movies
- netflix: quality is brilliant but the interface on the xbox is laborious and the selection, whilst excellent in TV, lacks in movies.
- NowTV: very good quality and the interface is nice, but the selection is slow to update. and very expensive a month.
- Lovefilm: quality is poor and the selection only marginally better than Netflix. I wasn't impressed, and haven't used it in a long time.
- Blinkbox: fantastic selection of tv. no subscription either, and it's cheaper than buying the dvd. only problem; uses microsoft silverlight on my mac and i can't get that to install properly
- Crackle: what the fuck is this, get this to shit.
iPlayer: the most incredible thing the BBC ever did. still the best thing about living in the UK.
4oD: The adverts are shit. and it sometimes crashes when it is playing the ads.
I don't subscribe to netflix or lovefilm anymore, and used Blinkbox last night to download Game of Thrones Season 2.
