Generation with the greatest civil rights record?
I'm gonna nominate mine: the Baby Boomers gave it a half-arsed start but my generation (am I X...?) actually made big changes.
(Kids, your generation, in the grand scheme of things, has doesn't shit yet. I'm not saying you won't, I'm just saying it's too early to tell.)
*Ten smart points to person who argues children working ungodly hours in some piss-poor factory during the Industrial Revolution was a *step up* from what it was.
Alternate thread contribution: discuss in 2 paragraphs or less the greatest moment in civil rights advancement. Or, if you're gay (or not), you may express your elation/frustration over the current state of things.
