The corner shop near me is very odd. Nothing has a price on it except for a DVD player on top of the drinks cabinet which has a big sticker on it saying 'Was £129 NOW JUST £49'. On the box of the DVD player is an endorsement by Jeremy Beadle and a selection of the DVDs which come with the player, which includes the entire Robocop series.

My flatmate and I tried to buy it once 'for a laugh' but the shop owner told us it wasn't for sale, and in fact was just an empty box which he kept 'for show'.
