YES! It's that thread you've all been waiting for. You thought the favourite tube line thread was good, but the sequel is BACK and its BETTER THAN EVER.

So, tell me your favourite bus route (ideally with start and end points), and reasons why - it can be personal, historical (?), aesthetic (?) - anything.

I'll kick off:

188 (North Greenwich to Russell Square) - goes 20ft from my house, take me right into the West End. Perfect for coming home from work events, and cheaper and quicker than the tube - and it's 24 hours. Regular and never too busy. Couldn't ask for more from a bus.
