Not needed, is it? had to take mine off as was falling on people's backs when they were using the toilet(lol). But they aren't really required are they?

They don't keep any smells contained, before someone says that.....the smell would escape anyway.......and you flush any unpleasant sights away, so not needed to cover them up like cat litter.
