I don't usually watch crime stuff or period dramas but I enjoy my ripperology so have been tuning in. I like it. It's pretty silly, how this cop and doctor are somehow pioneering forensics between them, but it's gory and a bit racy and romps along. I want to know more of Harper's back story.

The only thing that annoys me is that everyone talks fairly normally except for Macfaden who insists on speaking in a bizarre cod-Shakespearean language. And I don't like his wife, I think because the same actress played the exact same character in The Crimson Petal and the White.
