the way my job works we have a person designated each day to deal with public enquiries like telephone calls

if my colleague's phone rings and they're not at their desk i immediately lift my phone and pretend to dial out so as not to have to pick up the shite they're avoiding by pissing about making their 53rd cup of tea of the day

i also like to go for a piss 5 minutes before finishing time so as not to be caught with anything which might force me to stay beyond the regulation finishing time

all pretty pathetic but each feels like a minor victory over "the man"
