what are your favourite south korean movies?
watched poetry last night and it is amazing. got me thinking how good korean films has been the last few years, with nice coverage in our cinemas and on our tv's.
park chan-wook and kim ki-duk are responsible for most of what i've seen. think chan-wook has got better since the vengeance trilogy- i'm a cyborg and thirst are great.
loved spring, summer..., 3 iron, arirang and real fiction is good. wasn't mad on the isle, bad guy and the bow.
think drunk on women and poetry was the first i saw, that's good.
the host is their biggest grossing, is ok for that type of thing. prefered mother, by the same director. korean films have a lot more old people in, i like that.
the quiet family might be the weakest i've seen.
any good older ones you liked?
