Was thinking: sometimes regret things that we didn't do but, by the same token, there are things that I didn't do that I look back on now and think ''thank fuck I never did that''.

12 yrs ago I was on the verge of remortgaging my house to start an estate agency business. The business has since failed spectacularly and the partners who did buy in have had to sell up to pay off their debts and take jobs similar to the ones they had 20 yrs ago. That would have been me.
