Because I am a total sad act and 1. don't really drink any more and 2. am currently sporting a glorious throat infection/cold/cough/severe annoyance, I don't have solid plans for tonight, so I will be living vicariously through all of you - what are your plans?

I'm currently planning on making a big roast dinner (Xmas dinner take 2 I suppose) and spending the evening watching Teachers/Breaking Bad/Saw/X Files/Prometheus and perhaps playing Ghostbusters on PS3 with my man.

Sub-question: Does anyone feel a bit of unspoken pressure to have to do something worthwhile at New Year, almost to justify your current standing in the world i.e. if you're not doing something epic on New Year then you're just crap basically? By that logic, I'm pretty rubbish.
