Swear I haven't seen a single FM13 thread on here since the game came out (either that or I was sub-consciously blocking it out of my mind until I got the game). The FM12 thread was quite a hit so I thought I'd start one for 2013.

Just got my game today, having put off getting through uni exams etc. so I don't ruin my life. Only played 3 games as Spurs so far, taking my time and getting used to all the new features only going to do a season though just to get a feel for the game then start my proper career.

It really does seem like the biggest shake-up of the series in a few years. Not sure what my feelings are on the Director of Football yet. Brought in some Italian lad and gave him full control, ended up with Baines (21M) and Ba (7M)(good business or not) on his first day in the job, then he went completely quiet for the rest of the transfer window. Slightly disappointed that you can't tell the DoF a particular position to sign players to play in, only certain players. Other than that the 3D match engine seems better and it seems the general layout is a lot nicer looking. Will just take a bit of time to get used to.

Normally saw people posting their team's lineup in the FM12 thread, no point doing that for me. Just imagine Tottenham now but with Baines and Ba in the first team for Defoe and Assou-Ekkoto
