What were the things you remember as a kid?

My team was good. Played for 5 years as a right back (mainly consisting of standing on the halfway line chatting to the CB and occasionally booting the ball away). Won the league and cup in my final year, beat a team 31-1 once. I didn't score. The keeper did twice.

Once got swung for by a player who missed and my dad was reffing. Didn't send him off.

Remember watching adults before one of our games, in which there was an argument. Play went on until one player just lamped another sparking a 22 man brawl + all the coaches. As a kid, it was brilliant
