I've had a sore throat for about 2 weeks now.

It doesn't hurt all the time, it just when I yawn - and subsequently for the next few swallows. And I haven't felt ill at all.

There's a lump on the left side of my neck, but not on my right side. I've checked it out on-line and apparently its not uncommon to have only one gland inflamed on one side of the neck.

Has anyone ever had this - considering the amount of time that I've had this now?

It would be good if there was at least one serious reply!
