So, found out on Tuesday that one of my housemates is moving out this Saturday. Not by her telling me, but from one of my other housemates.

I've been out every evening this week, then came home yesterday to hear that quite a few new prospective tenants have been shown round the flat. Didn't have a clue before then. The other two housemates were in the kitchen discussing those they had seen and who they liked best.

Didn't get ANY input. I'm now severely pissed off as I'll be living with someone I've never met, as well as the fact I wasn't even told by my housemate she was moving out.

Is this normal in housing situations?

P.S. I didn't know these people before I moved in - it was a spareroom jobby.
