now, as someone who has never skated, i'm not too sure about this.

it just sounds fucking mental.

clearly i'll be struggling for balance. whilst having sharp instruments on my feet. and generally falling over around members of the general the public. potentially children.

how is this allowed? surely i should have to pass some sort of competency test?

like driving really. i should have to prove some level of ability, lest i injure myself or those around me.

ice skating thoughts...?

i think i'm destined for a bad time. the best i can hope for, is staying upright and looking like someone being forced to walk a tightrope whilst having shit themselves.
