I've got a question. How do sites that aggregate and compare data from other websites get the data? Is there some algorithm you can run on all the websites that automatically updates your site when those sites update or is it a matter of asking the websites individually for their co-operation?

I'm referring to price comparison sites, or sites like ents24 that have all the cinema times from every cinema in the country on them. How do they that?
