so i'm travelling to the US for Christmas and New Years, whistle stop tours of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas. i've been lucky enough to visit a few of these cities before so have done the touristy things. But i wondered if anyone on here had done anything particularly memorable in the above cities.

and on a more musical note, other than LA Weekly and the magazines available, are there any good websites for gig listings and things in cities like LA, San Fran etc. as i'd love to catch some decent music in local venues just am not sure where to start looking.
