I went to this thinking it would be a serious political thriller along the lines of Syriana. Y'know, not serious-serious, but Hollywood-serious. After a few clunking lines of the exposition type I revised my expectations downwards, fair enough, still a pretty gripping bit of superior fluff. Will they make it out?! Go USA!

But the entire scene in the airport was just *unforgiveably* stupid. It's rare for me still to be slightly affronted a couple of days afterwards. And I'm going on record as saying that Affleck shouldn't make any more films, because he is evidently just too thick to do it right.
