current options: manchester, nottingham, birmingham, leeds, cardiff, sussex

all have similarly interesting-sounding courses which i intend to do further research into (tho if anybody happens to have done a literature/cultural studies-related postgrad at any of them do tell), so basically i just wanna know about the cities, none of which i have ever been to or know much about. and this is not a this thread, i want painstakingly detailed answers with convincing reasons plz. i like music and eating out a lot and a varied range of nice bars to drink in and regular cheap/free cultural activities and places that are nice to walk around. obv leaning towards joining the MME
